* Palais is a plush cotton velvet fabric it is subject to pressure marking. This must be accepted especially on areas of the fabric subjected to preferential use. Pile flattening may be restored to some degree by gentle steaming and brushing to the pile. Avoid vigorous brushing with a very stiff brush as this could result in permanent damage. The use of arm and head caps will prolong the life of a fabric on upholstered furniture. Vacuum upholstery with the appropriate tool to remove grit and dust and prevent permanent soiling.
